2- Prices
The prices of the articles offered for sale on the Casa de Velázquez online shop are valid except for typing or computer error. Prices are shown in euros and VAT is included but not delivery charges.
Purchases made by persons resident in non-EU countries are exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT). Because of their tax regulations, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are considered non-EU territories.
Casa de Velázquez is not liable for any import duties payable on articles sent to other countries. Any such duties or other customs dues shall be paid by the customer.
3- Availability
Unless stated otherwise, all articles in the shop are available for purchase and remain the property of Casa de Velázquez until fully paid for.
If any product should prove to be unavailable after the order has been paid for, Casa de Velázquez shall advise the customer of the situation and return the amount paid.
4- Delivery charges
Delivery charges are shown in the shopping basket. The amount will depend on where it is to be sent.
- Spain and Portugal : 3 €
- European Union : 13 €
- Other countries : 15 €
5- Returns
The customer may return any book within 7 days of the date of receipt; books must be returned with their original packaging and must not be used or deteriorated. Only the price of the article will be repaid; this does not include the cost of delivery to Casa de Velázquez.
If the reason for returning the book is that it is defective or is not what was ordered, Casa de Velázquez will cover the cost of return and a new dispatch.
The money will be returned by the same mode of payment as was used to pay in the first place.
6- Confirmation of orders and acceptance of conditions of sale
By clicking on “CONFIRM ORDER”, the user is understood to have read and to accept these conditions. Once the order is confirmed, the user will receive an e-mail message with the details of the order.
7- Place of Contract and Applicable Jurisdiction
Casa de Velázquez and the user expressly renounce any other jurisdiction and agree to submit any dispute that may arise in connection with the provision of the services referred to in these Conditions of Sale to the Law Courts of the city of Madrid (Spain).
